Renewable Energy Lab

IET, along with the non-profit Danish Villages Energy has drawn up a plan and is currently seeking funding to establish a renewable energy laboratory in the Elk Horn-Kimballton schools.

The project would have a heavy focus on educating students and adults in four main categories:

Building Trades

Physics of Electricity and Thermodynamics

Statistical Analysis

Energy Efficiency Auditing and Improvement
